Chopstick Soap Dish
Billions of single-use chopsticks are consumed annually and an estimated 25 million trees and bamboo plants are used every year to make these chopsticks. Chopstick Art up-cycles discarded chopsticks to create unique and versatile folding baskets, soap dishes and other home accessories.
The folding soap dish holds a standard size of soap and keep the soap dry, extending the lifetime of your soap.

The Process
Chopstick Art collects post-use, single-use bamboo chopsticks from restaurants. Next they sanitize the chopsticks at extremely high temperature. The chopsticks are sorted, colored(tea stain and food coloring), and then assembled into artful folding baskets.
