shipping + processing

We do our best to process and ship in stock items within 24 hours of receiving your order, however please allow up to 3 business days for your order to process before receiving a shipping confirmation.

We currently deliver to USA only. We do not deliver to PO boxes, APO/FPO or US Territories. Orders shipping to Hawaii and Alaska are exempt from any free shipping promotions.

We offer shipping via USPS and UPS, and your shipping rates are calculated based on destination and weight of the item. Orders over $175 receive free standard shipping.

You will receive an email confirmation with order number once your order has been successfully placed. Please make sure your shipping address is correct as we are unable to redirect goods once they are in transit. Once your order is prepared for shipping, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Please use this tracking number for updates on the progress of your delivery. BUTIK Modern General will not be responsible for stolen or unretrieved orders if a package shows delivered. Please closely monitor delivery of your shipment. 

  • Please note that in some cases, your order may arrive in multiple shipments (i.e. in the case of items with lead times or on backorder).
  • Your order will processed shortly after is is placed. We cannot guarantee that a change or cancellation can be made once your order is confirmed.

returns + exchanges

We accept returns of all eligible items within 14 days of the delivery date.

To initiate a return, please contact us at with your order number, item(s) you wish to return, and reason(s) for return request. We will then send you a return label. Returns sent without our return label cannot be guaranteed.

We do not offer free shipping on returns unless the product arrives damaged or the wrong item(s) is shipped to you. Please be sure to contact to advise of any damages or wrong items received.

All shipping charges are non-refundable.

Refund will be applied on original form of payment within 14 days of receipt of item(s) to us.

We do not offer Exchanges. Should you wish to receive an exchange of product, please initiate a return and place a new online order.

Local customers can arrange for local returns via pick up or drop off in Pelham NY.

Please note: Items must be in new or original condition for vintage and antique items with any applicable tags and original packaging intact in order to be accepted for a refund. We reserve the right to reject your return should the item not meet these requirements, and it will be returned to you at your expense.

Pelham NY delivery + pickup

Complimentary local delivery and pick up is available for customers in Pelham NY. Indicate local delivery on the checkout page and add your mobile number and preferences. We'll contact you to arrange delivery/pickup shortly after the order has been placed.

We also offer local returns for local residents. Email with your order info to initiate a local return.

sustainable packaging

We strive to use as eco-friendly and sustainable packaging materials as possible. That includes keeping waste at a minimum by reusing some of the packaging receive from our brand partners. So don't be surprised if you receive a package using upcycled materials.
