Copeland Spode is a brand of fine antique porcelain. The popular pattern, 2118, became known as “Peacock”. The Spode company started in 1776, and was bought by the Copeland family early in the 1830s. These plates are also stamped Gilman Collamore & Co, an established business in 1861 in New York City.
